Jamie started his career with Leslie Bray & Co in 2004, first training to be a Member of the AAT, before going on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.

In 2013 Jamie left practice to take up a Finance Director role in industry, where he gained invaluable first-hand experience of how the success of a business can be transformed by the day-to-day involvement of a Chartered Accountant.

In 2017 he returned to Brays, using this experience to the benefit of his clients. He soon settled back into practice life and became a Director in January 2020. Jamie is quick to understand the practical issues faced by clients and offers advice based not only on accounts and tax knowledge, but on business-wide insight. He has been instrumental in helping clients unlock the value of budgeting and cashflow forecasting to track and plan for every-day changes to their business finances.

Away from work, Jamie is a keen Formula 1 fan and Leeds United supporter. He and his wife currently have their hands full looking after their young son whilst fine-tuning their interior design skills.
